U.S. History STAAR/EOC is Thursday, April 16!

On Thursday, April 16, Plano West will be administering the U.S. History STAAR EOC starting at 9:05 a.m. This will affect the bell schedule for all students. Click here to view the April 16 bell schedule.

Test-Taker Info

All test-takers should plan on arriving to Plano West by 8:45 a.m. so they can have time to locate their testing rooms and start testing promptly at 9:05 a.m.
They should plan on bringing a charged Chromebook and charger, No. 2 pencils, and an ID badge to their testing room.
Room assignments will be located in the A-building foyer.

Non-Test-Taker Info

Non-test takers may arrive for lunch at 11:18 a.m. or they may wait to arrive until their first class period.
Please note that periods 0/7 are the first periods after lunch.
There will be no alternate bus transportation; therefore, Non-test takers who arrive at 9:05 a.m. will be assigned to a study hall room until lunch.
If one or more of their teachers is assisting with the SAT administration, they should plan on checking in to their relocation room.
Class relocation assignments will be posted in the A-building foyer, as well as the lower A-building hallways.

All seniors (+1 guest) are invited, even if they are not going to Prom!

Support Our Plano West Staff During Casserole Day!

Plano West PTSA is hosting our Annual Staff Casserole Day again in May 2026, and we would love to have your support!

Our Annual Staff Casserole Day is a day where we can show our appreciation to the Plano West faculty and staff by providing them with an easy, pre-made meal that they can take home to enjoy with their families--just heat, serve, and enjoy!

Make sure to select Plano West Senior High School as one of your campuses of choice, then allow 3-5 business days for your background check to be approved.
