The Plano West Wolf Den PTSA is excited to announce that our Class of 2022 Community Service Scholarship Application is now available HERE.  Eligible Plano West seniors are those who have demonstrated outstanding contributions in the area of community service throughout their high school years.  


Scholarship application consists of three components:

  1. Application Form
  2. Essay (do not include your name or personal information on the essay)
  3. Documentation of Community Service Form (must use form provided in application packet; do not include your name or any personal references on this form).

 All Seniors who are PTA members of Plano ISD Senior High Schools or Plano ISD Academy High School are eligible to receive a Plano ISD Council of PTAs service scholarship. The recipient must demonstrate an outstanding contribution(s) to Community Service, as well as have participated in extracurricular activities. Funds will be sent to the recipients’ college/school of continuing education/trade school for the Fall semester. Each recipient's college/school of continuing education/trade school will receive $500 to benefit the recipient.


Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

● Must be a graduating high school senior from a Plano ISD Senior High School or Plano ISD Academy High School.

● Must have been a member of their Senior High School PTSA or Academy PTSA.

● Must be enrolled in a college/school of continuing education/trade school immediately following his/her high school graduation.

● A completed application and required documents must be received by 4:45 pm on April 28, 2022, to be eligible for consideration.

 Andrews Elementary Senior Scholarship
Attention graduating seniors! Andrews Elementary would like to present two eligible students with a Senior Scholarship as a recognition of achievement. These scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 each on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, during our annual Senior Reception Day at 4:30 at Capstone Park.Please submit an essay, maximum of two pages, along with a recommendation letter and proof of current GPA, no later than Friday, April 22, 2022, to Andrews Elementary PTA in the front office or via email to, Attn: PTA Senior Scholarship.
This year’s essay topic: What kind of person do you want to be—and what kind of person are you now? 
Eligibility Requirements:
  1. Shall be a Plano ISD graduating senior.
  2. Shall have a 3.0 GPA or better (as evidenced by submittal of a copy of your high school transcript or most recent report card).
  3. Shall have attended 5th grade or at least two years at Andrews Elementary School, Plano, TX.
  4. Shall enlist in the military, enroll in an accredited 2- or 4- year college or university, or enroll in a vocational or technical institute in the summer of fall semester immediately following the applicant’s high school graduation. An acceptance letter or other verifiable confirmation will be required before the check can be released.
  5. Shall write and submit to the Andrews Elementary PTA a 1-2 page essay.
  6. Shall NOT have an immediate family member on the Andrews PTA Scholarship Committee.

Centennial Elementary Patty H. Meyer Senior Scholarship


The Centennial PTA – Patty H. Meyer Scholarship was established in 2007 as the first Fifth Grade Class of Centennial Elementary was graduating from high school.  It was unanimously decided to name the scholarship after Centennial’s beloved first principal, Patty Meyer.  Each year since, the Centennial PTA has given the scholarship to a deserving graduate of a Plano ISD Senior High who attended Centennial in the Fifth Grade.  The recipient is chosen based upon their academic merit, service to the community and financial need.


This year’s chosen recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Daffron Elementary Senior Scholarship


Daffron Elementary PTA is offering a $500 scholarship to a 2022 graduating senior who attended Daffron.  Applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Attended Daffron Elementary for at least two years, including 5th grade
  • Plan on attending a 2- or 4-year college, vocational, or technical school by fall of 2022
  • Have a family member who was a Daffron PTA member in the 5th grade school year
  • Submit a typewritten 200-500 word essay responding to the prompt below.

Gulledge Elementary Senior Scholarship



The Gulledge Elementary School PTA awards a $500 scholarship each year to two graduating seniors. 

Selection Criteria: 

  • The student must have attended Gulledge for at least 3 of their 6 elementary years, including their 5th grade year; 
  • The student must have a GPA of 2.5 or better (applicant to provide original or copy of transcript with application); 
  • The student must plan on attending a 2 or 4-year college, vocational or technical school by Fall of 2022; 
  • The student must provide a one-page essay about their time at Gulledge demonstrating how Gulledge prepared them to be a successful and productive citizen and/or student. 
  • The deadline for submitting their application, essay and transcript is April 17, 2022.

Hightower Elementary Senior Alumni Scholarship


Are you a graduating senior who attended Hightower Elementary, or do you know someone who is? The Hightower PTA is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating PISD senior who attended Hightower for a minimum of 2 years, including 5th Grade. Click here for a link to the application.

Jasper High School Scholarship



A $500 scholarship will be awarded to two (2) students who meet the requirements listed below.

To be eligible, student must:

  1. Have been a paid PTSA member for both 9th and 10th grade at Jasper High School,* and
  2. Must be a 2022 graduating senior from a Plano Independent School District school, and
  3. Must attend a college/university or vocational program for Fall, 2022. Transcript must be attached.  No exceptions.  

Applications must be received by midnight on Tuesday April 26, 2022.

Winners will be drawn at the general PTSA meeting in May. Please complete the attached form and follow submission instructions.

Funds received are to be used for tuition, books or lab fees. Any funds used for travel expenses, babysitting or housing are taxable income. Scholarship payment will be made out to the educational institute the recipient will be attending in the fall.

Rice Middle School Alumni Scholarship


Rice Middle School PTA is delighted to award an alumni scholarship each year to a graduating PISD high school senior.  Any former Rice student who is graduating from a Plano ISD High school and will be attending an accredited college, university or technical institute full-time in 2022 is encouraged to apply. A family member must have been a PTA member for at least two out of the three years you were at Rice.

Robinson Middle School Scholarship



Shepton High School Alumni Scholarship


Shepton PTSA is offering a $500 scholarship in support of the higher education goals of graduating Plano ISD seniors  who are two-year alumni of Shepton High School.


In order to be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following qualifications:

  • Is a senior who will graduate in June 2022 from a Plano ISD Senior High School or Plano ISD Academy Program  School
  • Is an alumnus of Shepton High School who attended Shepton High School throughout ninth and tenth grades
  • Was a student member of the PTSA BOTH years at Shepton High School
  • Has a minimum 2.5 GPA at time of application
  • Will attend an accredited college or university or a technical institution in the summer or fall immediately following graduation, with attendance beginning on or before September 15, 2022

To apply for the Shepton High School Alumni Scholarship, eligible applicants must submit the following:

  1. The completed, signed application form found here

Skaggs Elementary PTA Scholarship
Skaggs PTA is offering a scholarship in the amount of $500 and shall be awarded to a graduating high school senior. Students may only apply if they graduated from Skaggs Elementary School.  Applications must be submitted via this form by April 15 at 11:59 pm.

The Scholarship Committee shall consider factors such as overall application strength, academics, school involvement, and/or community service when selecting an awardee from eligible applicants.  A high school transcript is required as part of your scholarship application.  Schimelpfenig PTA is offering a $500 scholarship in support of the higher education goals of graduating Plano ISD seniors who are alumni of Schimelpfenig Middle School.


 In order to be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the  following qualifications:

    ● Is a senior who will graduate in 2022 from a Plano ISD school.

    ● Attended Schimelpfenig Middle School from grades 6-8

    ● Must be a current student member of their high school PTSA

    ● Will be enrolled and attend full-time in an accredited college or a technical institute in the summer or fall                           immediately following high school graduation. 

    ● Submit a completed application by April 15.
